The Journeymen host a series of civic, community events, and festivals year-round, and from time to time, they are on the lookout for passionate volunteers to take on various roles.

The Journeymen go a step further in supporting our volunteers, particularly those in need of financial assistance. We subsidize our volunteers’ time and expenses, offering a unique opportunity for individuals who are working towards financial stability to contribute to our community efforts. This initiative not only aids in the personal growth and recovery of our volunteers but also strengthens our community by fostering a culture of mutual support and generosity.

Volunteer Opportunities

To help our events and activities proceed without a hitch and to have a meaningful impact on our communities, we invite members of the community to volunteer. Potential volunteer positions within our organization include:

• Greeting and welcoming attendees
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of event sites
• Operating information booths and offering customer service.
• Handling ticket scanning and gate management.
• Managing traffic flow and parking
• Assisting with our programs/workshops
• Supporting artists and overseeing stage operations
• Conducting ticket sales

Volunteer Requirements

Volunteers at The Journeymen’s events are expected to be dedicated, enthusiastic, and should meet the following criteria:

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• A friendly and welcoming manner
• A hardworking and industrious attitude
• A professional, mature, and well-groomed appearance
• The ability to work well within a team
• A flexible availability
• A minimum age of 18 by the date of the event Although not required, previous experience in event-related roles is beneficial.
